Milano Ready-Made Lined Curtain

Milano is a luxurious extra-length, ready-made eyelet curtain that is fully lined and offers a versatile linen look – perfect for creating a chic window treatment in bedrooms and living areas. These curtains are designed to deliver custom-made quality and elegance along with the convenience of ready-made curtains.

They are created from Hertex’s Milano fabric, a favourite among professional decorators for its sophisticated linen look and the washability of its poly blend. These curtains feature full dim-out lining, are finished with chic black rust-proof nickel eyelets, and include distinguishing details like a loose lining attached with a hand-stitched separator, as preferred by high-end interior designers. The eyelet or ring top design enables instant installation: simply thread the eyelets over any standard curtain rod up to 35mm in diameter.

Size: Luxury extra length – 265cm W x 260cm L

Fullness ratio:

• Standard Fullness (2:1 ratio): For a standard fullness, the curtain width should be about twice the width of the window. In this case, 265 cm width would effectively cover a window up to approximately 132.5 cm wide.
• Generous Fullness (2.5:1 ratio): For a more luxurious, fuller look, the curtain width should be about 2.5 times the width of the window. This would mean a 265 cm width can cover a window up to around 106 cm wide.
• Minimal Fullness (1.5:1 ratio): For a less full look, the curtain width should be about 1.5 times the width of the window. This allows a 265 cm width to cover a window up to approximately 176 cm wide.

Composition: Hertex Milano fabric  – 65% polyester, 25% viscose, 10% linen (front fabric); 100% polyester (dim-out lining) – with 16 x 40mm black rust-proof nickel eyelets

Weight per drop: 4,2kg

Installation: Thread over a standard curtain rod up to 35mm in diameter. A minimum rod diameter of 28mm is recommended.  

Care instructions: Machine-wash cold separately. Cool iron. Do not tumble-dry. Do not bleach. Professional dry-clean recommended.

Designer tip: By hanging curtains from the highest point of the wall, allowing them to fall all the way down to the floor, you create a subtle guide for the eye to follow, encouraging you to take in the entirety of a space, thereby creating the illusion of a larger room and higher ceilings. Usually, this can only be achieved with custom-made curtains, but with luxury extra-length (260cm) drops – which are available as ready-made curtains from HAUS by Hertex – this effect can be created in most homes.

Delivery Times:

Our orders are processed within 1 working Day! HAUS online deliveries take between 2 to 4 working days, between 8am and 5pm for main centres (CPT, JHB, PTA, DBN) and up to 7 working days for regional and remote areas.

Please note that our larger Rugs or Furniture items may take slightly longer in transit.

Delivery Costs:

Standard delivery is free for all orders totalling R1,500 or more across South Africa.

Please note that outlying areas may incur a shipping delay and a surcharge. We will advise you accordingly prior to dispatching your order should any further
charges apply.

All other orders carry a flat rate delivery charge of R150.

Pick Up in store: should you choose to Pick Up in store kindly note we have only one pick up location which is our DC in Bellville, Cape Town.

Pick up times are:

• Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays - closed
